Upcoming Regional Meeting

The London and South East (LASE) regional group meeting will take place virtually on 13 August 2026, 15:30-17:00.

The AURPO London and SouthEast regional group are planning a special meeting focussing on non-ionising radiation: ElectroMagnetic Fields (EMF) and Artificial Optical Radiations (AOR). The meeting will be online on Teams on 13 August, 15:30 – 17:00.

This will be a meeting to discuss implementation of the above regulations and hopefully learn from each other!

There will be no formal agenda, but we are looking to discuss:

• Implementation – how are you implementing these regulations in your institution
• Problem areas – what are some common themes or problem areas that you have encountered and are there solutions people have used that could be adopted by others
• Training – what kind of training do you have in place for what target groups or is there training you are still looking to developing
• Inventories – what approach have you taken on equipment inventories

Please feel free to suggest any other topic areas relating to EMF and AOR that you would like to discuss.
We would appreciate everyone coming prepared to talk and participate in the discussion, since this will not be a typical structured meeting with formal presentations.
