Pete Cole awarded Life Membership
Longstanding member Pete Cole was awarded Life Membership of AURPO at the 2024 Annual Dinner at Keele University earlier this month. Pete is a former President of AURPO as well as of The Society for Radiological Protection, the only AURPO member to have held both these roles. He has been RPA at the University of Liverpool since 2000 and is a co-author of the current edition of the critically acclaimed text book ‘An Introduction to Radiation Protection’. He is pictured above with AURPO President Julie Turner and Chris Murdock who delivered his citation.
This year’s Annual Conference was held at Keele University. It included 2 days of presentations, exhibition and evening networking events plus an optional tour on the 3rd morning. programme
